Our Promise

Every Motivation ROCKS order is hand-written and carefully packaged before it ships. We take pride in the quality of every rock. But we're human, and occasionally things go wrong — a damaged shipment, a message that wasn't quite right, or just a change of heart. We've got you covered.

What We Accept Returns For

  • Damaged in transit — if your rock arrives cracked or the packaging is destroyed, send us a photo and we'll ship a replacement at no charge.
  • Wrong message — if we hand-wrote the wrong message or sent the wrong rock, we'll fix it immediately.
  • Not satisfied — if the rock just isn't what you expected, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll issue a full refund or store credit.

What We Don't Accept Returns For

  • Custom-message rocks — because each custom rock is written specifically for you, we can't accept returns unless there's an error on our end.
  • Change of mind after 30 days — we can't process refunds requested more than 30 days after the delivery date.
  • Normal variation in handwriting — each rock is hand-lettered, so no two look exactly alike. Variation in letter style is not a defect.

How to Request a Return or Replacement

Email us at hello@realmotivationrocks.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue. If the rock arrived damaged, include a photo. We respond within 1 business day.

You do not need to ship the rock back to us unless we specifically request it. In most cases, we'll process a replacement or refund based on your description and photo alone.

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Shipping Costs

If we made an error or your item arrived damaged, we'll cover the cost of shipping a replacement. For change-of-mind returns, original shipping costs are non-refundable.
